| .... The college got temporary affiliation at graduation level for Hindi, English, Geography, Home Science, Sociology, Ancient History and Economics, for three years in July 2001. The first batch of the college comprised 450 students in BA I. Today the college has on its rolls about 5,000 students. The college got permanent affiliation for arts section in July 2004. Sanskrit and Urdu subjects were added to the Arts faculty in 2005. At present Dr RS Verma is working as principal of the college. The college got affiliation for B Sc classes in December 2005 and the process is on to secure affiliation for B Ed course.

| The college has 28 lecture rooms of 36x25 ft size, large laboratories, library and an administrative room. Hostel facility for 100 girls is available. Four units of NSS are running in the college. |
| Dr (Mrs) Rekha Vishwakarma took over as the first principal of the college and at present Dr RS Verma is working as principal of the college.
Both the teaching and the non-teaching staff are doing their work with full sincerity and honesty. Concerted efforts of all gave 90 per cent result in BA and 65 per cent in BSc in 2009. |
