| Sardar Patel Smarak Mahavidyalaya is a co-educational institution of higher learning in Larpur, Ambedkar Nagar. It was established in the memory of great freedom fighter, patriot and nation maker, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. Affiliated to Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University, Faizabad, the college is at present running B.A , B.Sc, B.ED classes under the self-finance scheme of higher education.

MANAGER'S MESSAGE |
Sardar Patel Smarak Mahavidyalaya was established by Shri Ram Narain Verma, a respected social worker of Ambedkar Nagar district at Larpur. The foundation stone of the college was laid by the Minister of Higher Education, Mr Om Prakash Singh, on February 25, 2001. The inaugural function was presided over by Justice Prakash Chandra Verma of Allahabad High Court and Dr Girish Chandra Saxena, Vice Chancellor of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University, was the chief guest. Ram Laut Verma donated 2.5 bighas of land and Ram Dular Verma contributed Rs 4 lakh in cash and thus played important role in establishing the college.
